Wonderful 2 night break. the unit accommodated our 4 adults and 2 children perfectly. Nice, quiet complex that we all enjoyed. The children loved the swimming pool. Great location, close to supermarekt, restaurant and beach. Would definitely recommned staying here. |

Coolum Beach Getaway Resort is a fantastic place to bring a family. My children made many new friends around the pool and we met people from all over Australia. CBGR is a small enough complex to have such a beautiful personal touhc from Host Murray, which is one of the many reasons i would recommend CBGR to friends and we will definitely be back! |

Wonderful in Every Way! From the moment we were met at the airport by Murray (optional extra) to the moment we said our sad farewells our escape to Getaway Resort could not have been better. We were greeted with warm hellos and promptly shown to our apartment. The apartments are spacious and clean and have everything on hand to make your holiday a relaxing one. The fabulous facilities ie bbq, pool, tennis/basketball court can all be viewed from your balcony. The location of the Resort is in a perfect quiet little spot - a very short walk to the beautiful beach, supermarket and popular shopping strip. On hand your hosts can help with car hire, dining out, sightseeing, bike riding or anything else you need help with. Nothing is too much or too little for Carmel and Murray. The fabulous weather topped off a perfect winter escape. I thought Getaway Resort was great on paper. Did a couple of nights of web surfing and your offer for what you got was the best I found - pool, tennis court, beach walkable and quiet. On arrival I discovered all was true and more and it was pretty clean too. My daughter cannot sleep at many places we stay as they are too dusty or musty. She was fine here - I would come again. No additional cleaning required from me! Hosts very welcoming. |
